Welcome 2025!

Our “Curator Cat,” Frankie, is excited about the new year . . . but not necessarily about taking down the holiday decorations.

Nevertheless, it must be done!

. . . Though we might wait a day or two. What most people don’t realize is, only yesterday was the official twelfth day of Christmas! And today, January 6th, is marked on Christian calendars as the Epiphany—the day the wise men actually arrived to pay their respects to the newly born Jesus.

Though we’re all familiar with the carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” most of us don’t actually celebrate all twelve—or even know when they are! Some people these days like to think of them as the days leading up to Christmas instead.

But that’s all old news now, right? Here at the Harrison House, we’re excited for 2025. We have lots of projects and events, both new and old, to look forward to! In fact, our monthly newsletter will be coming out this week. You can sign up here if you haven’t already, and stay tuned for a sneak peek at the future!
