The Roseland Historical Society was formed in order to:

• Foster and encourage an appreciation for and an understanding of the development of Roseland

• Discover, collect, preserve, publish and exhibit any material which may help establish or illustrate the history of Roseland

• Help persons discover and enjoy the history of their community and to interest all residents of Roseland in their heritage

• Foster and direct the acquisition and restoration of memorials, old homes and other historic sites in keeping with the history thereof
