Williams-Harrison House
The Williams-Harrison House (126 Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland) was built by Amos Williams in 1824 on what was then Swinefield Road in Centreville and was occupied by seven generations of the same family before being purchased by the Roseland Historical Society in 1976. A dignified 2 story country house, it is an excellent example of early nineteenth century Federal architecture. In 1934, a Historic American Building Survey was completed (see Library of Congress links below). The house was added to the New Jersey Register of Historic Places on November 24, 1978 and the National Register of Historic Places on March 13, 1979.
